Isaac Mizrahi

 

• Born in Brooklyn NY, on October 14 1961 

• Isaac Mizrahi is an American fashion designer based in New York City 

• Attended Parsons School of Design

• Fashion outside of the lines, colorful, off beat 

• Made a successful career from this 

• Project runway judge 

• Challenges include different themes, mixed materials, and time constraints

• First episode aired in 2004 on Bravo

• Chief designer for the Isaac Mizrahi brands, a division of Xcel brands Inc

• In 2009 he launched his lifestyle collection “ISAAC MIZRAHI LIVE!” on QVC 

• Currently sold at Lord and Taylor and Hudson’s Bay company 

• Hosted his own television talk show The Isaac Mizrahi show for 7 years

• He has written two books and has had many appearances in movies and TV

• Gossip Girl 

• Directed productions of A Little Night Music  and The Magic Flute for the opera theater of St Louis 

• Annually directs and narrates children's classic Peter and The Wolf at the Guggenheim museum in new york 

• Performed cabaret at Cafe Carlyle, Joe's Pub, West Bank cafe, and City winery locations across country 

• Has his own production company-Isaac Mizrahi entertainment
